Chad Adams

Chad Adams began a career in journalism while serving as a public affairs specialist, combat correspondent and Public Affairs Chief as a U.S. Marine. After four years of service, where he achieved the rank of sergeant, Chad began a career in the firearm industry.
In 2002, Chad began working for NRA as an editor with Shooting Illustrated magazine and later American Rifleman. During that time, Chad also began working in television, first as a reporter for American Rifleman Television, then as host of NRA’s American Guardian.
In 2009, Chad co-founded and helped lead the development of 3-Gun Nation, a national membership organization, sanctioning body and media company that promotes the sport of 3-Gun and the shooting sports.
Chad has produced and hosted television programs on The Outdoor Channel, Versus, NBC Sports, The Sportsman Channel, The Blaze and MAVTV. His team lead a transition to exclusive digital broadcast, pioneering livestream technology to effectively and economically cover the firearm industry and competitive shooting.
A die-hard fisherman, Chad enjoys hunting and shooting in Kentucky, where he coaches his three children in various sports.
